The S.M.C. Studios

Before it had become professional it was a collection of instruments for music composing. After composing music and doing improvisations on the piano, and doing hand-written song composings, in the 90's, and beside small audio recording devices, and also Handys, used for "Short Records", it, more professionally, began with a DAW System, and a Music-Keyboard as a Music Workstation in the later 90's. The name of this studio was simply "S.M.S. - Music (Studio Markus Steinigeweg - Music). This is, where most of the Songs for Millenium Records had been done. I, then, wanted to give a new impact to the new millenium and to punch it up with new, great, and fascinating music, people can identify with, in a cultural way. I asked myself that time, if I really would have to name the music label for this, one time, like this, and I may would only do it, if there is no other way than this way, under all these circumstances, I had to live in. And so, the music-label finally became, what it is.

For the part of Visual Media, from 1996 onwards, with countless studies, the studio was simply given the name "Studio Markus Steinigeweg Multimedia". There are also some "song-fragments", which had been tried to be restored, as demos.

In the early 2000's, the music system had changed the platform to Macintosh, this was a new start for making new music, as well. It had been expanded with a synthesizer and audio hardware. This studio had been called "S.M.S. - Studio of Music and Sound". Because of the early years of the millenium 2000, and the kind of new, fresh music, made there, the songs from me, of this music epoche, is for the music label "early birds".

After doing new investments in a totally new studio in the end of 2006, it began in 2007 with a unique "All-in-One"-Studio, combining the best and finest of the market, in music, 3D, Digital Content Creation, as well as Film and Post-Production, on one single workstation, enhanced with hardware, and TV/Film peripherals, being capable of mastering every project up to the highest level of demand. This was "STEMA", the "Studio of Entertainment, Music and Art". It had been used by "Lukas Stein Music" as well as by "Hypermusic". It was at the same location as the former studio.

Today, the studios of S.M.C. are actually Studio 1, Studio 2, and Studio 3, at different locations in Germany. The first picture shows an impression of Studio 1, the Multi-Studio of S.M.C., which is for Music as well as for Visual Media. The Studio has kind of mobility options, so it was under change several times, and it had been rebuilt for music sessions of S.M.C. Music. The picture collage is from 2023. The second picture shows Studio 2 in about the same time. All the Music of "S.M.C. Music", which can be chosen as a general label for all the music from S.M.C., is authorship confirmed to be from myself, in other words, it is originally "Markus Steinigeweg Music".

Studio 1, the Multi-Studio. It even would had been better, if all of the equipement would had been installed or would had been functionally working.

Studio 2. First only used as the new studio of "SMS - Studio of Music and Sound", was then intermediately rebuild into a mastering studio of S.M.C. .
